The Center for Object Research and Engagement (aka The Core)
Pardon our dust. We’ve started construction on The CORE—an active educational space for our permanent collection that will encourage close looking, learning, and diverse experiences with art.
With a collection of over 10,000 works, we look forward to transforming our lower level and bringing many artworks out of storage and on view for you to enjoy.

Learning through art
The CORE will expand access to the MSU Broad Art Museum collection as a critical site of learning for students of all ages, further integrating the role of the arts and object-based learning across MSU’s campus, while advancing a sense of belonging through the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the betterment of communities across mid-Michigan, and beyond.
