Laine Lord is an arts advocate driven by connection, community, and access.

As a recent MSU graduate with a BA in Art History & Visual Culture and French, Laine is thrilled to continue her time at MSU in Curatorial Support at the MSU Broad Art Museum. While completing her undergraduate degree, Laine interned in both Education and Curatorial capacities at the museum.

Outside of her internships at the MSU Broad Art Museum, Laine held internships at both the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Detroit Institute of Arts. While at The Met, Laine interned within the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing, specializing in Sub-Saharan African art curation. Meanwhile, during her time at the Detroit Institute of Arts, Laine interned in Donor Relations and Stewardship, broadening her professional experience in art museum Development. At the Broad, Laine is thrilled to bring her diverse museum experience and immense passion for Modern and Contemporary art to the table. Outside of the museum, you can frequently find Laine scoping out new places to get a sweet treat.
