Sandra Brown
Associate Director of Development, Cultural Arts
Sandra Brown loves knowing that the work she does plays a role in creating an open, inviting, and vibrant space for visitors. Through development, she says it’s exciting to help donors make a lasting impact on the lives of so many students and community members. Having previously worked in the financial industry, she joined the MSU Broad Art Museum team in 2012. Sandra holds a BA in Communications, with minors in Public Relations and Dance from Michigan State University, and was selected by CAS faculty to be the MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences Class of 2009 Student Commencement Speaker. She is also a graduate of Plus Delta Partners’ “DFF” program, a year-long course that enables frontline fundraisers to more efficiently and effectively raise major, principal and planned gifts. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, walking and hiking in nature, exploring stores and restaurants in local cities, and reading or catching movies at the theater.
