About the Exhibition

Curated by seventeen Museum Studies students in Professor Susan J. Bandes’s Curatorial Practices course, this exhibition explores the varied ways that we define “home.” It addresses dichotomies such as home/homelessness; temporary/permanent; place/country; reality/memory; animals/humans. Objects from the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum, the MSU Museum, and MSU Special Collections are juxtaposed in new ways to encourage viewers to broaden the idea of “home.”
