About the Exhibition

The 2015 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition marks the culmination of a three-year degree program that emphasizes extensive creative exploration under the supervision of a faculty guidance committee. Focused study in an area of concentration, as well as coursework in art history and related fields, helps artists situate their work within the larger discourse that characterizes the practice of art and design today. The creative research of Mary Curtis Fritz, Kiel Darling, Julie Johnson, Lane Kaufmann, Sarah Odens and Keri Weber-Davies stands as evidence of their achievements and promise.

This year the annual Master of Fine Arts Prize was awarded to Keri Weber-Davies by guest juror Amy L. Powell, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Krannert Art Museum, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
