About the Exhibition

The Master of Fine Arts Exhibition marks the culmination of a three-year degree program that emphasizes extensive creative exploration under the supervision of a faculty guidance committee. Focused study in an area of concentration, as well as coursework in art history and related fields helps each artist situate their work within the larger discourse that characterizes the practice of art today. The creative research of Ryan Groendyk (Sculpture), Volodymyr Shcherbak (Painting), Steven Stradley (Painting), Deborah Wheeler (Sculpture), and Rebekah Zurenko (Painting) stand as evidence of achievement and promise.

This year the annual Master of Fine Arts Prize was awarded to Steven Stradley.
