First Saturday means Family Day at the MSU Broad Art Museum! Make creative connections with our exhibitions through free hands-on and interactive family fun throughout the museum.
What is your story? Let’s make interactive books inspired by We Are This Land and share the stories, people, and places that make you who you are. Get inspired by artists in the exhibition and create a story of your own! All ages are welcome.

This event is offered in connection with We Are This Land: Meditations on the Great American Experiment. On view Aug. 22, 2026–Mar. 14, 2027, We Are This Land brings together artists who invite us to reflect on our history, consider our present, and imagine brighter futures.
