Family Art Studio

Family Art Studio is a free, drop-in art experience where families create and collaborate side-by-side in a relaxed, playful studio environment! Each Friday this summer, the Alan and Rebecca Ross Education Wing transforms into an open art studio filled with hands-on art stations using a wide variety of art materials. 

There’s no single project to complete and no “right way” to participate. Families are encouraged to explore at their own pace, follow their curiosity, and make choices together. Museum staff are present to welcome families, introduce materials, and support creative experimentation. 

After spending time in the studio, head into the galleries to look at art, make connections, and find inspiration together. Come when you can and stay as long as you like—all families are welcome!
