Día de los Muertos Community Mixer

Join us for an evening of culture, connection, and community! Celebrate Día de los Muertos, visit the community ofrenda, and enjoy traditional favorites, including tamales, pan de muerto, and pan dulce.

This special gathering will also provide an opportunity to meet Dr. Cristian Doña-Reveco, the new director of the Julian Samora Research Institute, and connect with staff from the Consulate of Mexico in Detroit. Together, we will honor traditions, celebrate shared heritage, strengthen relationships, and build a more connected community.

¡Todos son bienvenidos! All are welcome!

This event is in partnership with Farmworker Student Services, Julian Samora Research Institute, Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Chicano/Latino Studies, Chicanx/Latinx Association, Office of Multicultural Engagement and Advocacy, and the MSU Broad Art Museum.
