Broad Underground: Muraliwala (1927) with live musical accompaniment

What do you know about early Indian cinema? Exploring film, history, and archives, this program presents the silent film Muraliwala (1927), directed by Baburao Painter, accompanied by a live musical performance. This event is in partnership with the Asian Studies Center at MSU and programmed by MSU Film Studies Ph.D. student Rutuja Deshmukh.
