ARTIST TALK: Studio Mela
How does food shape our cultural connections? Join artist and chef Carmel Bar and multidisciplinary designer Michal Evyatar as they introduce Studio Mela, their multi-sensory art and design studio based in Israel. Through food, design, and movement, Studio Mela encourages us to look beyond everyday interactions with food to explore deeper connections between culture, art, and pleasure. Registration for this free event is encouraged.
This event is related to themes presented in the exhibitions Farmland: Food, Justice, and Sovereignty and Vanitas: Archive of Arrested Decay.
This event is co-sponsored by the MSU Broad Art Museum, Michael and Elaine Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel, and the Department of Theatre at Michigan State University.
