Development Assistant


Student Employment

The MSU Broad has several positions for MSU students. Gallery Guides help keep the museum operating on a day-to-day basis. As a Gallery Guide, you’ll receive behind-the-scenes training; guide our visitors through their experience; and represent the museum within our community. Design Student Assistant

The MSU Broad is seeking a Design Student Assistant to support the PR + marketing department with day-to-day tasks, primarily print and digital graphic design. All projects support and promote the museum’s exhibitions, events, and educational initiatives. The Design Student Assistant will directly report to the Communications Coordinator. This is an hourly paid position.


  • Currently studying graphic design, creative advertising, and/or communications.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Must be very organized, able to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating technical skills, attention to detail, and concept-driven design.
  • Interest in arts and culture a plus!
