New in Student Performance: Zach Adleman
Zach Adleman is a Jazz Studies student majoring in drumset. Zach’s group has blown away the competition and recently landed themselves a spot at this year’s East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz festival. This monthly series features MSU students as the Education Wing becomes a laboratory to develop and showcase their creative research. Whether it’s music, dance, poetry, film, or something we haven’t even thought of yet, this is your chance to show us what you’ve got and support creative Spartans!

Bring your lunch to the crossroads of Canadian roots music with Ken Yates. Since first planting roots within the Canadian music scene in 2011, Ken Yates has steadily grown a reputation as one of the country’s brightest singer/songwriters. His sound offers the complete package—unforgettable melodies, emotionally charged storytelling, and top-notch guitar chops—all gloriously displayed on Yates’ new album, Huntsville. The Acoustic Lunch series is offered in collaboration with Pump House Concerts.

Acoustic Lunch: Josh Rose and Ed Dupas
Bring your lunch to the crossroads of American roots music with Josh Rose and Ed Dupas. Josh Rose is a song craftsman, meticulously polishing every word. He has spent the past ten years touring the midwest, teaching, writing, and creating a rich body of work. Americana singer-songwriter Ed Dupas’ lived-in melodies unwind with reflective lyrics and speak to the current state of the human condition.
