Join us on Wednesday, January 30 at 7pm in our Education Wing to hear Curator of Contemporary Art Alison Gass and Director of Education Aimee Shapiro in conversation with Dr. Gladys Beckwith, a founder of the Michigan Women’s Studies Association. A pioneer in the field of women's studies and women's history, Beckwith continues to work diligently to advance the public understanding of the role that Michigan women have made in society. In 2005, the Detroit News named Dr. Beckwith one of twelve, “Michiganians of the Year.”
