We’ve organized two amazing sets that will make you dance for this month’s Arts Night Out in East Lansing! We’ll kick things off at the museum with an interactive performance by Detroit-based VNESSWOLFCHILD. Multimedia artist Vanessa Cronan mixes a vibrant arrangement of synthpop, ambient, and experimental music into a ritual-like performance and high-energy dance lesson. Get to know the many faces and stories of refugees in the Lansing area still searching for a sense of home. Artist Sam Jury’s project, To Be Here, on view at the Broad MSU, was developed from her time spent with exiled Sahrawi refugees near Tindouf, Algeria.
