Before it opened in November, local officials referred the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum as a game-changer in the region’s arts and culture landscape. So far the museum is living up to its hype. “We have an iconic building that is already proving to be an attraction for people from several parts of the world,” said Michael Rush, founding director of the museum at Michigan State University. “We’ve had more than 65,000 people come through the museum since it opened in November.”
