Docent educators are vital members of the MSU Broad education team. These dedicated volunteers share their knowledge and excitement of art with the public. Docents lead interactive tours and spark meaningful conversations about art. Docents work with a variety of audiences including school groups, university classes, and the general public. Training includes of lectures on modern and contemporary art as well as hands-on sessions in the galleries. We incorporate the most current strategies and techniques and address how to talk to different populations about art.
