Expressing Science Creatively: Sci-Art Panel

Tuesday, Apr. 02, 2019    6–8pm

MSU SciComm and the MSU Broad Art Lab are working together to provide a platform for community members to express science creatively. This workshop will be the first in a series designed to bring scientists and artists together to create a piece of art. The event will begin with a keynote speaker that will lecture broadly on how to translate science to a form of creative expression. Afterwords, a panel of artists boasting a variety of skill sets will lead a discussion on the same topic. Attend this event to learn how you can collaborate with others to create artwork to share with your community!

Expressing Science Creatively: Sci-Art Panel is part of the Community Open Call, an experimental platform that invites the community to become a central figure in the planning process for the arts and cultural programming offered at the MSU Broad Art Lab. This initiative is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.

Held at the Art Lab, located directly across the street from the museum at 565 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.
