A Different Story: Recreation and Cinema in Women’s Prisons and Reformatories

Scholar and author Alison Griffiths, distinguished professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Baruch College, The City University of New York and the CUNY Graduate Center, will host a virtual lecture based on her research into the relationship of film and recreation in women’s prisons in the early 20th century.
