The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum offers a range of dynamic educational programming for all ages, including family days, artist talks, films, performances, a lively docent program and an interactive, standards based multi-visit school program. From our first-floor education center, throughout our galleries and online, the Broad MSU provides innovative educational and creative programming to the university, local community and beyond.

Upcoming educational programming at the Broad MSU:

Family Day: First Saturday of Every Month
11am–3pm
Free and open to the public
Come to the Education Wing of the museum to: create colorful projects based on different pieces in the exhibition, participate in creating collaborative drawings with other kids, go on an interactive scavenger hunt on an iPad, and enjoy a museum tour designed especially for families at 1pm. Presented by Farm Bureau Insurance.

Student Docent Program Internship
A docent is someone who serves as a guide and educator in a museum. Docents are enthusiastic, creative, and enjoy sharing their knowledge and excitement of contemporary art with the public. Docents present engaging and interactive tours of the museum and serve as an interpretation guide for museum visitors. This 4-credit program will run again in fall 2015.
