Postponed: THRD Generation: Simple Hair Bows
With public health and safety in mind, we have postponed this event. We plan to reschedule for a later date, to be confirmed.
What values do you want to pass down to future generations of your family? What passions do you want to share with your community?
Enjoy the fulfillment of creating something with Bianca McCastle, creator of THRD Generation. THRD Generation’s mission is to empower others to be your authentic self while honoring those before you with the skills, independence, and freedom to create for future generations.
Drop in to the MSU Broad Art Lab to learn how to create African print hair bows using simple techniques that were passed down to Bianca by her grandmother Ozella Tate!
This collaboration with THRD Generation is part of the Community Open Call, an experimental platform that invites the community to become a central figure in the planning process for the arts and cultural programming offered at the MSU Broad Art Lab. This initiative is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Apply for the Community Open Call here.
Held at the Art Lab, located directly across the street from the museum at 565 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.
