Postponed: MFA Opening Reception

Saturday, Mar. 21, 2020    6–8pm

With public health and safety in mind, we have postponed this event. We plan to reschedule for a later date, to be confirmed.

Celebrate the creative and scholarly research of graduate students Hector Acuna, Rebecca Casement, Marcos Serafim, and Emily Somoskey featured in the 2020 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition. At 6:30pm join guest juror Courtenay Finn, Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, for a short awards program to announce the annual John and Susan Berding Family Foundation endowed Master of Fine Arts Prize.

The 2020 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition is organized by the MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design and the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University, with curatorial oversight provided by Steven L. Bridges, Associate Curator. Support for this exhibition is provided by the Graduate School at MSU and the John and Susan Berding Family Endowment.
